recycle paperEvery ton of paper, roughly 200,000 sheets, that is recycled saves approximately 17 trees. The average school tosses 38 tons of paper each year, the equivalent of 644 trees. When you buy notebooks and paper think green and spend a couple extra to get recycled (it’s not always more expensive). Raise the awareness in school, perhaps you can rally ohers to the cause and organize a school-wide paper recycling program.

You can also offset your books.

Where oh where can I buy recycled paper in Jerusalem?
I recycle paper at least once a week, but have no clue what happens with it…

Hello, I am trying to sort out a sustainable purchasing policy for an office in Tel Aviv. I don’t speak hebrew and it has been making my searches somewhat complicated. I searched the office depot Israel page for the word ‘recycled’ and it came up with zero results. What brands of recycled office paper are available in Israel? Also, what brands of recycled toilet paper are available? If anyone has info on this, please send me a note to j_t_s@shaw.ca

    thanks!
    Justin
