Be Nice to Our Land
Jul 18th, 2008 by Jack Reichert
Summer is the most popular time to hike, the Israeli national pastime. The conditions are just right for a good old Israeli hike. The sun is scorching, everyone else is doing it and the kids are out of school.
When hiking, be nice your our land! Too many times a beautiful hike is ruined because some lazy hiker decides that it is more convenient to leave the potato chip bag that they have just finished with on the path. Or worse! Lunch leftovers. Take one of the bags that you packed lunch with, collect all the trash, and tie it onto your backpack. Be nice to our land. Don’t let our land become a garbage country.
