Will Kenaf Become the World’s New Wood?

We’ve talked about the wonders of bamboo, but another material, being researched and improved by Israeli scientists may become the new bamboo, the new hemp and the new wood. Watch Jonathan Dayan from Tel Aviv University talk about his PhD research on kenaf.

    WHAT MARKET IS THERE IN ISRAELI FOR KENAF. PRODUCTION IN NIGERIA. WOULD LIKE WHOLESALE CONTACT. GROWTH AND MANUFACTURING FUND UNDER USAID.

    Kenaf Boards and Butanol LLC and New Generation Industries have designed a board out of kenaf that is aleast 6 times stronger than oak. We are making construction and oil field mats out of it. These mats are used in very marshy area to haul in and out very heavy loads.
